Seven Sisters Ice Cream Farm is a family-run business known for delicious homemade ice cream, a warm welcome, and fun seasonal activities. Each autumn, our Pumpkin Patch becomes a highlight for families and visitors from near and far. We're looking for a friendly and organised Pumpkin Patch Supervisor to help us deliver a magical experience for our guests.
Role Overview
As Pumpkin Patch Supervisor, you'll take the lead in the day-to-day running of our Pumpkin Patch during the busy Halloween season. You'll manage a small team, ensure smooth operations, and create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily running of the Pumpkin Patch area, ensuring it is safe, tidy, and well-presented.
* Supervise and support seasonal staff, allocating duties such as admissions, pumpkin sales, photo points, and activity zones.
* Deliver excellent customer service, assisting families and groups to enjoy their visit.
* Monitor stock levels of pumpkins, decorations, and supplies, liaising with the farm team when needed.
* Handle cash/card transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
* Help coordinate health & safety, including crowd management and child-friendly activities.
* Be a visible and approachable presence for both staff and visitors.
What We're Looking For
* Previous supervisory or team leader experience (hospitality, retail, or events preferred).
* Strong people skills – approachable, enthusiastic, and able to motivate a team.
* Organised, reliable, and able to work calmly in a busy, family-friendly environment.
* Flexible and willing to get stuck in – whether helping a child find the perfect pumpkin or moving stock around the patch
* Availability throughout October, especially weekends and half-term.
