Bristol Rovers FC is actively seeking a Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist to join our Academy Sports Science & Medicine.
Working with our U9-U16 squads, you’ll play an integral role in delivering top-tier medical and rehabilitation services.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified therapist eager to gain experience in football and be part of an ambitious club dedicated to nurturing the best talent in the region.
Part time which may include evenings (Monday- Tuesday- Thursday- Friday), weekends and bank holidays as required and in line with business needs.
About The Candidate
* Pitch-Side Care: Provide immediate pitch-side emergency care during training, home, and away games.
* Assessments & Rehabilitation: Appropriately assess players and deliver treatment, rehabilitation, screening, and education programs across all Academy teams, with a focus on our schoolboy programme and weekday clinics.
* Documentation: Maintain up-to-date medical notes and records via Kitman Labs.
* Continuous Learning: Stay current with developments in musculoskeletal care and football medicine.
* Professional Representation: Act as a positive ambassador of Bristol Rovers FC at all times.
* Safeguarding: Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures at all levels.
Essential Qualifications
* Degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or Sports Rehabilitation.
* Valid ITMMiF qualification (Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football).
* UEFA FDEP.
* ATMMIF.
* Registered with a relevant governing body (HCPC / BASRaT, etc.).
