We are seeking to recruit a Senior Nurse with NMP who will deliver specialist support and prescribing interventions to our patients accessing treatment at Achieve. The successful candidate will also provide a range of clinical interventions, detoxification interventions, blood borne virus screening, vaccinations, administering long‑acting injectable opiate medications, and carry out a range of physical health investigations.

o Additional qualification relevant to addictions
Experience
* Essential
o Experience of leading on a piece of work that has contributed to effective service delivery
* Desirable
o Experience of providing clinical interventions in drug and alcohol services
o Experience of prescribing in drug and alcohol services
Knowledge
* Essential
o Knowledge of the physical, psychological and social effects of substance misuse
o Understanding of key issues in drug and alcohol services
* Desirable
o Knowledge of opiate and alcohol detoxification interventions in the community
