We are looking for a full time Consultant in Adult and Paediatric Spinal Surgery. The appointee will be expected to provide advice and expertise through the full range of adult and paediatric spinal disorders, both elective and emergency. The successful candidate will be expected to share the on-call rota (currently 1 in 10) with his / her colleagues. The appointee will play a role in provision of spinal tumour service.
We expect the appointee to have a track record for high quality research and be able to help drive research projects in the department. The candidate is expected to bring a sub specialist interest in paediatric spinal surgery to complement the existing ones within the Department.
