YOUR ROLE
Our operation in Doncaster is looking for a focused and meticulous Warehouse Shift Supervisor, where you will ensure the safe and efficient running of operations to meet and exceed customer expectations. This role will see you working Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 22:00.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
* Lead and motivate a team of Team Leaders and warehouse colleagues, ensuring work is allocated fairly and effectively to meet operational requirements.
* Plan ahead to ensure adequate cover across holidays, sickness, and absences; monitor attendance, punctuality and absenteeism.
* Actively contribute to colleagues’ training and development, fostering their growth and success.
* Build excellent working relationships with clients and internal customers to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest standard.
* Uphold high housekeeping standards, promote continuous improvement within the warehouse, and ensure adherence to health and safety rules and procedures.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Experienced Warehouse Supervisor from a similar logistics environment.
* Demonstrable experience leading, managing and motivating a team; knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, reliable and punctual, with a flexible approach to work.
* Excellent communication and customer engagement skills due to regular interaction with the customer.
