The Project
As a highly experienced Contracts Manager, you will successfully oversee MoJ sector projects across Yorkshire with typical build values between £5m - £50m. You will have strong understanding of the framework and regularly attend sites across the region ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and stakeholders' needs.

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
SMSTS
First Aid
CSCS Card
EL1 or Security Clearance is not essential upon application but already having this in place is advantageousIt is also essential that you hold the experience below;
Previous experience working on projects within the MoJ sector in a similar position with strong understanding of the framework
Proven history of successfully overseeing projects in a similar position with build values in excess of £5m
Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working with tier 1 and tier 2 leading construction contractorsAdditional skills;

Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
Implement and oversee Health and Safety audits on site
Report to Operations Manager, attending regular meetings
Overseeing compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
Provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution
Monitor project budgets effectively, adhering to project expenditures
Identify contract-related risks and create strategies to mitigate them
Conduct negotiations with clients, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
Enforce compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Communicate contractual changes to all stakeholders, administration and/or management
Effectively oversee contract deliverables meet specified quality standards and specification
Monitor contract expenditures, track budgets, and ensure projects adhere to budgetary limits
Handle contract changes and evaluate their influence on project scope, schedule, and budget
Establish and maintain strong positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns promptly
Address and identify potential issues arising during contract execution, negotiating resolutions professionally
Oversee all aspects of contracts, encompassing the review, negotiation, and finalization of contract terms and conditions
Coordinate and supervise tenders, cost estimation, and project development throughout preconstruction and construction phases
Uphold precise records of contracts, correspondence, and related documents, and regularly report to management on contract performance and compliance
Observe and monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to contract terms and conditions, taking corrective action as necessary to address any deficiencies
