Are you an experienced and passionate Teacher of Maths looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity in the Barrow-in-Furness area? Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with an OFSTED-rated 'Good' mainstream secondary school seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their team from January 2026 through to Summer 2026.
The Role:
As a Teacher of Maths, you will:
Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Plan, mark and assess pupils' work in line with the National Curriculum
Guide pupils through lessons, providing clear instruction, direction and support
Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold high expectations for learning and behaviour

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
A relevant teaching qualification with QTS
A degree in Maths
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or willingness to obtain one), overseas police checks if applicable, and professional references
A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
