Cardiothoracic Perfusion Fellow FTC - 2 years

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to apply for a two year fixed term fellowship in Cardiothoracic Perfusion, in the Department of Clinical Science and Services. You will be expected to enhance the department’s reputation through scholarship in clinical activities and teaching. You will achieve this by delivering professional services within the College’s small animal referral hospital by further developing and delivering advanced cardiac surgical therapies through the open heart surgery programme, at the Royal Veterinary College.
We are looking for a team player with exceptional communication skills and is enthusiastic about developing cutting-edge cardiotherapies whilst also supporting undergraduate and postgraduate student learning through their specialty discipline. We are looking for candidates with an RCVS registrable degree in veterinary science, who also hold or are eligible to sit an American or European postgraduate diploma in an allied discipline such as Emergency and Critical Care, Cardiology or Anaesthesia and Analgesia. A background in research in cardiopulmonary medicine or surgery and a PhD, although desirable, are not essential.
