The Role
As a Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards through high-quality structural and cosmetic repairs.
Key Responsibilities
14. Carrying out structural and cosmetic vehicle body repairs
15. Repairing, replacing, and aligning vehicle panels to manufacturer specifications
16. Completing accident damage repairs using approved repair methods
17. Performing MIG/MAG welding and panel straightening techniques
18. Using modern bodyshop equipment and repair technology
19. Maintaining high levels of productivity, quality, and safety
20. Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
21. Previous experience as a Panel Technician, Panel Beater, Vehicle Body Repair Technician, or Accident Repair Technician
22. Experience working within a bodyshop or accident repair centre
23. Strong panel repair and replacement skills
24. Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding techniques
25. Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
26. Strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction
Desirable
27. ATA Panel Technician accreditation or equivalent qualification
28. Experience working with manufacturer-approved repair methods
