Main Purpose of Role:
Maintain correct stock levels to support Corbysite. Manage parts requirements for plant. Stocktaking on rolling schedule. Maintain stock levels of spare parts to ensure factory downtime is kept to a minimum.
DIMENSIONS
The role involves working as part of the Engineering function on days. Co-operate effectively with all other Team Members, to enable the team to maintain plant utilisation.
Principal Tasks:
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in Main Stores, Motor Stores and Oil Stores.
* Raising/receiving orders on Navision.
* Receiving materials on Navision.
* Dealing with internal/external telephone calls.
* Liaising with suppliers and Contractors.
* Completing relevant documentation and recording data on required formats
* Reporting data to required channels including reporting anomalies.
* Undertake the training of others as required.
* Identify own training needs
* Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, efficiency, safety and waste reduction.
* Ensure the safety of self and others at all times
Qualifications
· No specific requirements for qualifications, although previous knowledge and experience of working /managing a modern Engineering Stores would be required.
· Experience of similar Stores that operate minimal cost & high quality within a food environment, would be of advantage
