Main Purpose of Role:

Maintain correct stock levels to support Corbysite. Manage parts requirements for plant. Stocktaking on rolling schedule. Maintain stock levels of spare parts to ensure factory downtime is kept to a minimum.

DIMENSIONS

The role involves working as part of the Engineering function on days. Co-operate effectively with all other Team Members, to enable the team to maintain plant utilisation.

Principal Tasks:

* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in Main Stores, Motor Stores and Oil Stores.
* Raising/receiving orders on Navision.
* Receiving materials on Navision.
* Dealing with internal/external telephone calls.
* Liaising with suppliers and Contractors.
* Completing relevant documentation and recording data on required formats
* Reporting data to required channels including reporting anomalies.
* Undertake the training of others as required.
* Identify own training needs
* Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, efficiency, safety and waste reduction.
* Ensure the safety of self and others at all times

Qualifications

· No specific requirements for qualifications, although previous knowledge and experience of working /managing a modern Engineering Stores would be required.

· Experience of similar Stores that operate minimal cost & high quality within a food environment, would be of advantage

· PC skills (essential)

· Mechanical comprehension skills (desirable)

· Knowledge of COSHH (desirable)

· Trained to food hygiene standards (essential)

· Knowledge Navision or similar product (essential)

· Knowledge of Excel & Word (Desirable)

· Experience of stores process's (essential)

· Experience of BRC or similar auditing system (desirable)

· PC knowledge (essential)

· To work on own initiative and as part of a team.

· To carry out any other reasonable requests from the Area Manager

· Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards throughout area of responsibility.
