We’re now looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Contract Hire Business Development Team Leader to join our growing team and play a key role in expanding our market presence.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you’ll lead a team of Business Development Executives focused on driving new contract hire and leasing opportunities. You’ll set clear performance goals, coach and motivate your team, and personally contribute to high-value business wins.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing Business Development team.
* Identify, target, and secure new B2B contract hire opportunities.
* Support the team with strategic account management and deal negotiations.
* Work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention.
* Monitor KPIs and sales performance, producing regular reports and forecasts.
* Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, prospecting, and customer engagement.
* Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
About You
* Proven track record in **B2B contract hire, vehicle leasing, or fleet management sales**.
* Strong leadership and coaching skills — you inspire teams to perform at their best.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
* Commercially astute with a results-driven mindset.
* Confident working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
* Full UK driving licence.
