Responsibilities and duties of the Site Operations Manager
Reporting to the Regional Lead you will:
* Take full operational ownership of the site
* Manage and coordinate contractors across maintenance and logistics activities
* Oversee and manage SLA contracts, ensuring service delivery and performance standards are met
* Plan and manage maintenance schedules to ensure safe and efficient site operations
* Work closely with logistics teams to support the movement of biogas via a virtual pipeline and site interface
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly relating to gas systems
* Act as the on‑site point of contact for operational issues, resolving problems in a timely and effective manner
* Maintain high technical standards across all site activities
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline
* Strong mechanical background, ideally with hands‑on experience
* Experience working with gas systems and associated HSE requirements
* Experience managing contractors and third‑party service providersKnowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling within an industrial environment
