Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Support Medical Secretary to join the Cardiology Admin Team in Glan Clwyd Hospital. The candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We would consider a job share for this position.
Responsibilities
* Provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administration duties to the Cardiology Department.
* Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, organisation, and the ability to work well under pressure.
* Be an experienced typist, qualified to RSA Typing Level II (or equivalent).
* Represent the department with due professionalism in a busy environment.
Essential qualifications
* NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent experience
* RSA / OCR Level 2 or equivalent experience (proficient user of Microsoft Word)
* IT related qualification CLAIT plus / ECDL or equivalent
Desirable qualifications
* AMSPAR – City & Guilds Level 3
* NVQ Customer Service Level 3
Experience
* Knowledge of a range of administrative processes
* Experience of working in a busy office environment
* Experience of typing
