Main purpose of the role

Role Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Administrator to join us at our regional office at South Central, Leeds. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Commercial Administrator to support the commercial team in delivering efficient and accurate administrative functions across our construction projects.

This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a desire to develop within the commercial side of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and administration of contracts, purchase orders and assisting with payments.

• Maintain accurate records of commercial documentation including invoices, payment applications, and variations.

• Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely processing of commercial information.

• Assist with the management of various internal documents such as NHBC/ LABC trackers, Fee schedules and services.

• Coordinate and manage document control processes to ensure compliance in line with group procedures.

• Provide general administrative support to the commercial department, including meeting coordination and minute-taking.

HS&S Responsibilities

To take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your work and adhere to the Keepmoat Health, Safety and Sustainability standards.

Skills, knowledge & experience

• Previous experience in a commercial or administrative role within construction or a related industry.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; (previous experience with coins is desirable but not a necessity as training will be provided).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
