The Role & Responsibilities Supporting the Social Sciences faculty, you will deliver a rich and relevant Health and Social Care curriculum that prepares students for both academic success and professional careers in the care sector. Subject Instruction: Teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and Level 3 (KS5), ensuring students grasp complex concepts such as human lifespan development and meeting individual care needs. Vocational Excellence: Managing BTEC or equivalent internal assessments with precision, providing high-quality feedback to support student progress. Curriculum Innovation: Contributing to the development of a varied curriculum that links classroom learning to real-world healthcare settings. Student Development: Setting high expectations and providing the pastoral support necessary to help students develop into compassionate and skilled professionals. Requirements Degree: A degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field. QTS: Mandatory for this position (ECTs are welcome to apply). Right to Work: Must possess the valid right to work in the UK. Experience: Familiarity with the vocational assessment requirements of HSC at Key Stages 4 and 5.
