We're looking for Teaching Assistants who are ready to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), non‑verbal communication needs, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Whether you're experienced or just starting out, if you have a heart for helping children thrive, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting pupils with complex needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment
* Assisting with communication, sensory integration, and emotional regulation
* Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning goals between the ages of 4-19
* Helping children engage in classroom activities, play, and therapeutic sessions
* Collaborating with teachers and therapists to deliver holistic care and education
* Celebrating every small step of progress and building meaningful relationships
Who We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working with young people, ideally within an SEND setting
* Highly organised with excellent communication skills
* Passionate about supporting and inspiring children to reach their full potential
* Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
* Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs such as ASC, ADHD, or similar conditions
* Knowledge of Makaton, sign language, or alternative communication methods is desirable but not essential
* A proactive attitude with a flexible and caring approach to supporting children's individual needs
