A Power Electronics Engineer is required to join a high-growth technology company developing advanced battery and fast-charging solutions. The Power Electronics Engineer will work on the design, development and validation of power conversion systems for next‑generation energy storage and EV charging platforms. This Power Electronics Engineer role offers hands‑on technical responsibility within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop power conversion circuits, including DC/DC and AC/DC topologies
* Select components and optimise PCB layouts for high‑efficiency, high‑power systems
* Perform simulation, analysis and validation of power electronics modules
* Collaborate with hardware, firmware and mechanical teams to integrate power systems
* Support prototype build, testing and troubleshooting
* Document designs, test plans and engineering reports
Requirements
* Background in power electronics, hardware design or energy systems
* Experience with DC/DC converters, battery systems or EV charging electronics
* Ability to develop and validate power circuits and work across multidisciplinary teams
* Practical testing, fault‑finding and validation experience desirable
* Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
