This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for teachers with experience in SEND or ECTs with a strong SEN interest.

About the SEN Department
The SEN team works closely with teaching staff, families, and external agencies to deliver highly individualised support for students with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning needs. The team benefits from dedicated teaching spaces and a highly experienced SENCO.
About the Role
As a SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and delivering differentiated lessons in small-group and one-to-one settings.
• Developing targeted interventions to support literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Working collaboratively with class teachers to adapt mainstream lessons.
• Contributing to the review of EHCPs and individual learning plans.
• Supporting transition planning and wider student wellbeing.
• Attending training and contributing to staff development in inclusive practice.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree and QTS/PGCE
• Experience or strong interest in teaching students with SEN
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, resilience, and creativity in your approach
Salary
Salary is paid to scale – MPS/UPS, with SEN allowance available.
