Supporting the delivery of EE Architecture proposals for the development of bespoke EE Architecture for a new platform architecture across all vehicle project lines. This role works closely with the OEM Team to provide detailed delivery planning ahead of starting the development phase.
Responsibilities:
Develop and evolve the EE architecture in line with design requirements, functions, and parts maturity.
Deliver high-quality system design specifications and ECU extracts for all vehicle projects in accordance with the OEM Development Process and ISO26262 requirements.
Drive a design-led approach to systems engineering, conducting analyses to define system behavior, derive functional requirements, and evaluate alternative system design concepts.
Support the creation of feature implementation and Software Platform plans for each program, ensuring active management to keep each platform on track and meeting customer needs.
Support EE Architecture strategies to deliver across identified projects and plan delivery to achieve milestones.
Required Experience:
Proven skills in automotive systems design within a large team environment.
Successful deployment of several complex whole-vehicle software projects with confidence in managing project execution and risks.
High-level system engineering management expertise.
Knowledge of automotive market trends and experience in business model development (e.g., make or buy).
Required Skills:
Deep experience in system definition, architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modeling, systems integration, system assessment, and acceptance.
Expertise in EE architecture network design with knowledge of LIN, CAN, CAN FD, and Ethernet standards.
Experience with AUTOSAR standards and developing products in line with Functional Safety and Cybersecurity standards.
Recognised technical leadership skills for resolving complex cross-functional issues.
Required Education:
~ Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (2:1 or above).
