Salary: Circa £45,000 Location: East London - Stratford Area Our client specialise in waste management and are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their engineering team supporting site operations and maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities Ensure management and operational teams are kept updated on issues Oversee repair and maintenance activities carried out by the shift team Repair plant equipment including fabrication of essential components where required Maintain working knowledge of MRF and baler electronics Diagnose baler hydraulic systems Operate fire pumps and isolate zones where required Complete contractor permit documentation Ensure contractors hold valid site inductions Maintain working knowledge of controls across baler, MRF and plasterboard facilities Support basic repair work on Tomra systems Manage stock including bearings, electrical items and consumables Keep the MRF in a clean and serviceable condition Ensure daily checks are completed and issues reported Promote and maintain Health & Safety standards across the MRF Requirements Experience working within an MRF environment preferred Single phase or three phase electrical qualifications or experience is essential Hydraulic experience is essential Welding skills are essential Strong customer focus Strong interpersonal skills Flexible approach to work MEWPS certification advantageous Forklift licence advantageous First Aid at Work qualification preferred Fire Marshall qualification preferred Salary & Benefits Circa £45,000 salary xxuwjjq 4 on / 4 off shift pattern Days only - 07:00-19:00 Further benefits and package details Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
