About the Role
Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting for a Business Support Officer to join a local public organisation based in Downpatrick.
This role will provide a comprehensive and flexible administrative business support service across a range of functions and departments. The successful candidate will help maintain business support service standards while delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
As part of a wider team, you will contribute to the delivery of a modern, professional, high-quality and responsive business support service.
Key Responsibilities
2. Provide administrative and clerical support across a range of departments
* Support the delivery of an efficient and customer-focused business support service
* Assist with maintaining business support service standards
* Respond to internal and external customer queries in a professional manner
* Use management information systems to record, update and access information
* Handle financial transactions and maintain accurate associated records
* Prepare, update and manage documents using Microsoft Office applications
* Support the wider team in delivering corporate and business plan objectives
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Work flexibly across different functions as required
Essential Criteria
Applicants must have:
3. 4 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent, plus 1 year of experience providing administrative or clerical support
OR
4. 3 years of experience providing administrative or clerical support in lieu of qualifications
Applicants must also have:
5. 6 months of experience using a Management Information System
* Customer service experience
* Experience handling financial transactions and maintaining associated records
* Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
