The role of a Service Maintenance and Repair Technician is multifaceted and impactful. Due to a successful year, we are expanding our team. You will be the friendly face providing first-class service and repair work, whether at customers’ workplaces or homes.
As part of our mobile mechanic team, you will attend appointments to complete service inspections, breakdowns, provide on-the-spot repairs, and keep things running smoothly. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will help you excel in your role. What will I be doing?
You'll Be
* A communicator: Master diagnostics and delight customers! Share knowledge clearly, ensuring customers feel safe and understood.
* A self-starter: Work independently or within a team, driving to various locations in all weather conditions. No two jobs are the same, offering a variety of appointment-based work and breakdowns.
* A fixer/problem solver: Use your technical ability to solve a variety of issues, from roadside repairs to attending scheduled appointments. Be the solution bringer and help customers get on with their day.
* Be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation. Be ready for anything, anytime, anywhere, in any weather. Get drivers’ days moving again and build their confidence for now and the future.
What do I need?
You’ll Need
* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
* A full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
* Flexibility to work hours that may include evenings.
