Registered Nurse Band 5
Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurses (Band 5) to work in the NHS as an agency nurse. As a Registered General Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Working with a team of specialists, you will work together to provide excellent patient results and support our health care facility's overall success.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide patients direct nursing care, which involves assisting with everyday tasks, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication.
2. Evaluate the needs of the patient, develop care plans, and carry out the necessary nursing procedures.
3. Work together with other health care professionals to plan patient care and guarantee clear communication.
4. Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
5. Inform patients and their families about health issues, prescription drugs, and methods of self-care.
6. Comply with infection control procedures and keep the patient area tidy and safe.
7. React to crises and offer prompt medical attention when needed.
Requirements:
8. NMC registration
9. A minimum of 12 months post qualified work experience
10. Strong clinical skills and meticulous attention to detail
11. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
12. Effective teamwork and the ability to work independently
