Permanent Full-Time Role - 38 Hours Per Week

Position Responsibilities:
1. Provide leadership and direction to the Perioperative Department, aligning with the hospital's strategic, operational, and business goals.
2. Ensure efficient management of the department and coordinate evidence-based nursing care delivery.
3. Manage human, financial, and material resources effectively while maintaining optimal customer service levels.
4. Undertake direct patient care as required and support less experienced nursing staff.

Selection Criteria:
1. Registered Nurse with APHRA registration.
2. Tertiary qualification in management or working towards it.
3. Minimum 4 years experience in the Perioperative Department.
4. Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Commitment to high standards of clinical and customer care.
7. High computer literacy, including MS Office.
8. Ability to work effectively within a team.
9. Strong time management and prioritization skills.
10. Knowledge of labour management and rostering.
11. Experience in a similar role.
