Pay Rate: £12.70 (£12.90 weekends) per hour plus mileage.
Location: Port Talbot, Swansea.
Hours: Flexible, Part Time, Full Time (Paid Travel Time & Guaranteed Hours).
Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship.

Abacare is in search of a caring and empathetic Care Assistant to provide dedicated support to the local people of Port Talbot – Swansea, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and professionalism.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Companionship – being a friendly face & preventing loneliness.
* Personal Care – all aspects of personal hygiene.
* Medication – collecting prescriptions & providing reminders.
* Mealtimes – preparing tasty meals.
* Housekeeping – keeping the home just the way they like it.
* Mobility – helping with getting around.
The successful Care Assistant will ensure this is done with the highest level of understanding and dignity for our clients.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the team?
* Proficient in effective communication across all levels.
* Demonstrates a sincere interest in working with our specific client group.
* Successfully passed DBS screening.
* Patience, compassion & a positive attitude at all times.
