Job Summary

This role involves maintaining and updating Unix components within integrated test environments. You will be responsible for defining and maintaining processes for environment builds, code deployments, and environment support. Additionally, you will conduct continuous improvement activities to streamline and automate current processes.

You will work closely with Engineering Rooms and Service Provision teams to ensure best practice within technical areas. Your duties will also include triage and root cause analysis of environment issues and progressing resolution. Furthermore, you will collate and report metrics to the Technical Delivery lead.

This is a challenging role that requires in-depth knowledge of administering RHEL in an enterprise environment. Practical experience of IBM WebSphere Application Server and ability to work to challenging timescales and deliver to planned schedules are essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within large multi-platform environments within their technical specialism. They will also possess a good overall understanding of test environments, constituent components, and their interoperability.
