Job Description:
NOTE: This job is based in Northern Ireland and is on-site.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Syndeo, you will be at the frontline of our sales team, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will drive sales pipeline growth through outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and strategic account outreach.
This role is ideal for ambitious, results-driven individuals eager to build a career in technology sales. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and partner teams to generate interest in Syndeo’s Conversational AI solutions and secure meetings with enterprise decision-makers.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Prospecting and engaging senior decision-makers (e.g., Heads of Customer Experience, CIOs, Contact Centre Directors).
* Executing outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email, and calls.
* Personalizing outreach using account-based marketing principles.
* Qualifying inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, webinars.
* Identifying pain points and aligning Syndeo’s solutions accordingly.
* Ensuring leads meet sales-accepted opportunity criteria.
* Booking high-quality discovery meetings.
* Researching target industries, competitors, and trends.
* Tracking performance against KPIs like meetings booked and pipeline contribution.
* Maintaining accurate pipeline data in HubSpot or similar CRM.
* Using sales engagement and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
Learning & Development:
* Staying updated on industry trends, Conversational AI, and CCaaS solutions.
* Developing skills in sales methodologies, automation, and lead nurturing.
Skills and experience required:
Minimum 3 years in B2B technology/SaaS sales, business development, or account management, demonstrating:
* Ability to engage senior stakeholders and book quality meetings.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM.
* Motivation, goal-orientation, resilience, and ability to handle rejection.
* Proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
Candidates should also demonstrate:
* Strong customer service approach.
* Interest in industry trends and solutions.
* Ability to engage at all organizational levels.
* Organizational skills, persistence, resilience.
Nice to have:
* Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields.
* Knowledge of Conversational AI, automation, CCaaS.
* Experience with partners or channel sales.
* Formal sales training (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN).
