Are you passionate about Computer Science and ready to shape the digital minds of tomorrow? Longsands Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science to join our forward-thinking team.
About The Role
As a Teacher of Computer Science, you will:
* Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and ideally KS5).
* Inspire students to develop a love for computing, coding, and digital literacy.
* Use data to monitor progress and tailor teaching to meet individual needs.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider development of the department.
* Play a key role in the pastoral care of students as a form tutor.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour, inclusion, and academic excellence.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary on the Main to Upper Pay Range (£31,957 – £50,062), depending on experience.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
* Has experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Is committed to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
* Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for student success.
