Reed Maidstone are working with a local practice are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax affairs for sole traders and companies, focusing on personal tax and Capital Gains Tax (CGT). This is a challenging and yet rewarding role that involves managing approximately 1000 clients annually
Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage and oversee the tax affairs of approximately 1000 clients annually, focusing on sole traders and companies.
* Provide expert advice on personal tax and Capital Gains Tax (CGT).
* Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
* Prepare and review tax returns and documents for accuracy.
* Liaise with clients to provide tax planning advice tailored to their specific needs.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. ATT qualification is essential.
2. Proven experience as a Tax Manager, particularly in managing tax affairs for sole traders and companies.
3. Strong understanding of personal tax and Capital Gains Tax (CGT).
4. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients.
