Role: Industrial Door Engineer
Location: Aberdeenshire
Salary: £51,480 BASIC + Door-to-Door + Van
Shift: Monday - Friday (45 hours) + Overtime offered at 1.5x / 2x
On call: £350 standby + overtime rates when called out
Overview
My client, a well-known and respected industry specialist in the Aberdeen area is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Industrial Door Engineer. This is a permanent, field‑based role offering consistent work, and the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
* Attending sites to carry out surveys and complete quotations of work to be carried out
* Administrative duties office based as required to support the existing team
* Routine maintenance and service of Industrial doors
* Repairs as necessary to ensure Industrial doors are fit for purpose
* Mechanical & Electrical Repairs
* Diagnostics / Fault Finding
* Inspections
What you'll need
* Experience working with industrial or automatic doors
* A willingness to broaden your knowledge into new product areas
* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ or equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential
