Department of Cancer Services
Inpatient Services – Advanced Nurse Practitioner Post, Band 7 – 29.6 (0.8 WTE) hours per week. As this post is part‑time, the salary will be pro‑rata.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the ANP Inpatient team within the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. The successful applicant will have a keen interest in cancer care and treatments.
Responsibilities include working with an established ANP team across all tumour groups in multidisciplinary teams, supporting the on‑call telephone triage team, and actively contributing to the development of the service. The roles are varied and offer a unique opportunity to further your career in cancer services.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Suitably qualified and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
* PVG Scheme membership/record required; if not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, must apply to Disclosure Scotland and be deemed satisfactory before beginning in post.
* Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check.
* Previous experience in cancer care and treatments preferred.
