Senior Training Fellow – Neonatal Medicine
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Training Fellow post in Neonatal Medicine. The post is available to commence immediately for an initial period of 12 months, extendable to 2 years or permanent based on satisfactory progression.
Responsibilities
* Work on the middle grade rota on a 1:10 neonatal rota (subject to change).
* Provide 100% clinical commitment to the neonatal department.
* Work alongside other postgraduate doctors in training, clinical fellows, advanced neonatal nurse practitioners and neonatal consultants.
* Receive support from a resident junior tier doctor or Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and a neonatal consultant.
* Gain tertiary experience on the Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Location & Facilities
Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Royal Stoke University Hospital – a Lead Centre and Regional Intensive Care Unit. The unit provides 6 intensive care, 6 high dependency, and 14 special care cots and offers modalities such as HFOV, NO and therapeutic hypothermia.
