We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive pharmacy technician to join our ward‑level clinical team at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. We are a busy department and are looking for a highly motivated individual that shares our vision and is looking for a new challenge.
Responsibilities
* Integrate into the multi‑disciplinary team and work closely with the Clinical Pharmacist to maximise medicines optimisation.
* Take drug histories and provide patient counselling.
* Coordinate the supply of discharge medication from wards.
* Conduct audits and support continuous improvement of medicines management.
* Train multi‑disciplinary team members on medicines management issues.
It is essential you can work accurately under pressure and possess the ability to manage and prioritise your workload efficiently, ensuring a high level of professionalism while providing a high‑quality service to our patients.
