We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new establishment. Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to support food production.
* Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service excellence.
* Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, focusing on quality, creativity, and cost-effectiveness.
* Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the restaurant.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary knowledge with hands-on experience in food preparation and cooking.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
* Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Previous experience in kitchen operations is essential; hotel or barista experience is an advantage.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
