Job Description
The Junior Assistant Accountant will;
3. Support the production of accurate monthly management accounts
4. Prepare and post journals as part of the month-end close process
5. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies
6. Maintain the company fixed asset register, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
7. Monitor and report on property-related expenditure
8. Assist with intercompany reconciliations across the group
9. Process and reconcile direct debit transactions
10. Manage employee expense claims and corporate credit card reconciliations
11. Ensure all reporting deadlines are met in line with group requirements
12. Prepare statutory and National Statistics submissions as required
13. Provide wider finance team support across purchase ledger and credit control activities
14. Cover purchase ledger duties during holidays and periods of absence
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Assistant Accountant should have:
