About The Client
Our client is a leading, award-winning organisation in the insurance sector, with over 25 years of experience delivering exceptional service. Since their founding in 1998, they have grown significantly and earned multiple industry accolades, including recognition as the Biggest Independent UK Van Broker and Independent Broker of the Year. They are now looking to expand their team with a dedicated Cleaning Operative at their Stoke-on-Trent site to help maintain their high standards of workplace environment.
Hours Of Work
Monday-Friday between 16.00-22.00, totalling 30 hrs per week.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise surfaces and areas.
* Industrial cleaning to high standards.
* Clean and sanitise shared areas, offices, toilets and canteen areas.
* Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies.
* Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
* Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
* Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
* Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
* Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
