Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join schools in Blyth. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ lives.
In this role of TA, you will work closely with class teachers to support student learning and classroom management providing one-to-one support, lead small group activities.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
* Support pupils across various subjects and ability levels.
* Assist the teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
* Provide 1:1 or small group intervention where needed.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Contribute to progress monitoring and feedback.
Requirements for TA:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
* A positive, patient, and adaptable attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
