Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (08:00 – 17:15) | 1 in 3 Saturdays (08:00 – 12:30)

The Role
As an Automotive Parts Advisor, you will be central to our parts operations, serving as the critical link between trade partners, retail customers, and our internal workshop technicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Component Identification: Use Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPC) to precisely source and identify components for retail, trade, and internal workshop orders.
* Workshop Support: Work closely with our service technicians to ensure swift and accurate parts delivery, keeping workshop efficiency high and vehicle downtime low.
* Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage incoming orders, oversee core returns, and assist with inventory optimization.
* Inbound Enquiries: Handle a high volume of phone and email queries, providing technical guidance and identifying natural upselling opportunities for accessories.
* Department Standards: Help maintain a highly organized, tidy, and efficient parts department at all times.
What We Are Looking For
* Industry Experience: A proven track record working as a Parts Advisor within either a franchised main dealer or a motor factor environment.
* Systems Proficiency: Solid experience using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Pinnacle, Kerridge, or equivalent software.
* Technical Aptitude: A strong comprehension of vehicle systems and the ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately.
* Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with retail buyers and trade professionals alike.
* Attention to Detail: High precision when managing part numbers, stock counts, and invoicing.
