Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to carry out minor works across the city/county. This role is ideal for someone hands‑on, practical, and confident using hand and power tools. The successful Maintenance Operative will be responsible for a variety of small maintenance tasks including installations, repairs and groundwork.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be required to drive a 3.5‑tonne van between jobs.
Your Role as a Maintenance Operative, your duties will include:
Installation of public fixtures such as bins, benches and fencing
Minor repair work to road signs and street furniture
Laying slabs and basic groundwork tasks
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Carrying out general maintenance duties across different locations
Driving a 3.5‑tonne van to various jobs throughout the city/county
Working safely and following all site and council regulationsRequirements
Full UK driving licence - essential
Previous hands‑on experience in labouring, maintenance or similar
Confident using hand and power tools
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adaptPay & Shifts

Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 15:30
Friday: 07:30 - 15:00
37 paid hours per week
