The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their full potential. Your key responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
* Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students with severe learning difficulties and pre-verbal communication challenges.
* Assisting with the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic strategies.
* Building positive and trusting relationships with students to support their emotional and social development.
* Confidently undertaking personal care duties with dignity and respect.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working with children or young adults with Special Educational Needs.
* A strong understanding of severe learning difficulties and pre-verbal communication.
* Confidence and compassion in providing personal care.
* Resilience, patience, and a positive attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
