The Opportunity
As Head of Regional Fundraising & Events, youll lead the strategy, development, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of challenge events, community fundraising initiatives, and mass participation campaigns.
Youll play a key role in driving sustainable income growth, identifying exciting new opportunities, and creating exceptional supporter journeys that deepen engagement and loyalty.
Working as part of the wider fundraising leadership team, youll help shape future strategy while building a high-performing, collaborative culture across the organisation.
What Youll Be Doing
1. Lead and deliver an ambitious community and events fundraising strategy
2. Drive significant income growth across events and community fundraising portfolios
3. Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing fundraising team
4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to maximise ROI
5. Create innovative supporter journeys and stewardship experiences
6. Identify and launch new fundraising products using audience insight and market trends
7. Monitor campaign performance and optimise activity through data-led decision making
8. Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated, supporter-focused campaigns
9. Contribute to wider organisational strategy as a key member of the fundraising leadership team
About You
Were looking for a commercially minded and strategic fundraising professional who combines creativity with strong leadership skills.
Youll bring:
10. Significant experience leading successful community and/or events fundraising programmes
11. A proven track record of delivering income growth and managing substantial budgets
12. Strong people leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams
13. Strategic thinking and the ability to turn insight into impactful action
14. Experience developing innovative fundraising products and campaigns
15. Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
16. Confidence working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
17. A genuine passion for supporter experience and fundraising excellence
