If so, this Test Technician role could be perfect for you! The Test Technician position is working for a company in the Portsmouth area. The role is Monday to Friday, 8am 4:30pm, with an early finish of 3:30pm on a Friday. The role is paying up to £32,000 depending on experience. The Test Technician will work within the Product Design team to perform electrical, mechanical and environmental testing on electronic components and assemblies. Responsibilities include setting up and operating lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, force gauges and CMMs, as well as conducting simulation testing using Ansys. The role requires accurate recording, documentation and reporting of test results according to company and industry standards. The technician will collaborate with design, production and quality teams, plan and manage daily tasks, and ensure compliance with EN9100 standards while seeking opportunities for process improvement.
