About Us
Shropshire Creative is a content-led production company producing high quality video, drone and digital content for businesses across the UK.
Garage Talk is our automotive aftermarket media brand, delivering industry news through a dedicated news website, online video content, a podcast and weekly radio shows.
We’re a small, ambitious and friendly team. We value creativity, accuracy and a collaborative approach to producing great work.
The Role
We’re looking for a creative and detail focused Videographer & Content Creator to join our small team. This hands‑on role involves filming, editing and producing engaging content across multiple platforms, including Shropshire Creative’s marketing content, Garage Talk’s digital platforms and client campaigns and branded projects.
You’ll be involved in projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring everything looks great, is on brand and technically polished. Creativity, attention to detail and consistency are all equally important, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in producing work that is professional and ready to publish.
Main Responsibilities
* Plan and film high quality video content in our studio and on location using professional cameras, microphones and lighting equipment
* Capture interviews, event coverage, branded projects and social‑first video
* Film with short‑form platforms in mind, including TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
* Present or appear in video content and interview guests, clients and industry figures
* Attend events and exhibitions to film content and support the team with live and recorded coverage
* Edit both long‑form and short‑form video for client projects, Garage Talk platforms and social media
* Edit audio content for Garage Talk’s podcast and radio shows, ensuring clear, consistent sound quality
* Create teasers, highlights and cut‑downs from longer footage where needed
* Add captions, titles, music and branded elements where appropriate
* Deliver platform‑ready exports in the correct formats and aspect ratios
* Support content planning, storyboarding and creative ideas
* Keep project files organised and structured for efficient team working
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative individual who enjoys working and collaborating as part of a small team. We want someone who brings ideas with energy and positivity and is keen to play a key role in helping us grow.
You should have:
* Strong videography and editing experience (portfolio required)
* Adaptability as we explore new formats and content opportunities
* Confidence using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Creative thinking and confidence in contributing ideas
* Comfortable communicating openly and asking questions when needed
* Ability to work independently and use initiative while also collaborating closely with the team
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or reliable means of travelling to events and client locations
An interest in cars or the automotive industry would be useful for Garage Talk content, although it is not essential.
Experience with drone filming or holding appropriate drone certification would also be advantageous.
There may also be opportunities to get involved in our radio show or podcast if that is something you are interested in and feel confident contributing to.
Working Arrangement
* Based primarily in our Telford office, with travel to events and client locations
* Full time or part time considered
* After a successful probationary period, some hybrid working may be considered
