Overview
Our Guest Service Assistants are responsible for ensuring every guest receives a safe, outstanding experience. This role reports directly to the Guest Service Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in Shrewsbury SY2 6LG
Guest Service Assistant duties include:
Working on a busy reception desk checking in and out guests
Working on the bar which is part of the reception desk
Keeping the breakfast buffet fully stocked, clearing tables and looking after up to 150 guests for breakfast
Cooking a simple breakfast buffet for up to 150 guests as well as washing up and cleaning of teh back of house areas
Basic cleaning of the front of house areas
Cooking simpl evening meals for 10-30 covers
Tking food orders and waiting on looking after evening guests
Dealing with conferences
Health and safety as part of every day tasks
Small maintenance jobs as they occur
Dealing with guests requests and complaints
Beyond that, you'll represent our company values and culture, ensuring that service excellence remains our top priority.

What you’ll bring to the team
Ideally, you will have some previous experience in a fast-paced, customer facing role and passion for outstanding Customer Service. Due to the nature of the role the ability to anticipate guests needs is highly desirable. You will also be comfortable using a range of technology, including MS Office.
