Job Description

Start your Electrical Engineering Graduate Scheme – South Wales - where it actually matters!

This is your chance to work on infrastructure that impacts millions of people every single day — keeping essential services running, supporting communities, and protecting the environment.

You’ll join a forward-thinking organisation responsible for critical national infrastructure, delivering large-scale engineering projects across Wales.

No prior experience needed. Just the right mindset.

Key criteria

* Degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum 2:2 by September 2026)
* Understanding of power systems, control systems, or instrumentation
* Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
* High attention to detail
* Interest in large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects
* Willingness to travel across Wales when required

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Engineering team, you’ll support major capital investment projects from design through to installation and commissioning. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered:

* On time
* Within budget
* To the highest quality standards

You’ll gain exposure to:

* Power systems and electrical infrastructure
* Control systems and instrumentation
* Real-world project delivery
* Planned and reactive engineering projects

Expect variety, responsibility, and real impact from day one.

This graduate programme is built to accelerate your growth technically and personally.

You’ll develop:

* Communication and stakeholder skills
* Resilience and problem-solving ability
* Leadership and collaboration
* Time and project management

You’ll also:

* Work on live business projects
* Collaborate with other graduates
* Be supported to join professional bodies
* Access further qualifications (including project management)

Why apply?

* £31K+ starting salary
* 34 days holiday (including bank holidays)
* Up to 11% employer pension contribution
* Flexible working options
* Funded training, mentoring and career progression
* Private healthcare options + wellbeing support
* Discounts, perks and lifestyle benefits

You’ll also be joining an organisation that reinvests into its services and communities — not shareholders.
