About the Role
You will advise on the financing and development of major infrastructure, energy and digital infrastructure assets across EMEA and APAC. The work spans the full spectrum of project finance structures, including:
* Acquisition financings and refinancings
* Bank, bond and US private placement (USPP) structures
* Multi-source project finance involving ECAs, multilaterals and Islamic finance
* Common terms platforms for complex project portfolios
Sector Focus
This team is widely recognised for its work in both traditional and next-generation energy and infrastructure, including:
* Energy transition: battery gigafactories, green/renewable power, hydrogen, green steel
* Conventional energy: oil & gas, LNG, mining
* Digital infrastructure: fibre networks, data centres, towers, subsea cables
You’ll work on some of the most strategically significant projects shaping global energy and infrastructure markets.
Client Base & Market Position
The practice acts for a broad mix of major sector participants, including:
* Infrastructure sponsors and developers
* Pension funds & sovereign wealth funds
* Credit funds and private capital providers
* International and investment banks
The team is known for its deep bench strength, strong execution capability, and the ability to run large, complex cross-border financings.
Candidate Profile
* Qualified solicitor, 1–10 years PQE, with experience in project finance, energy finance, or infrastructure transactions, preferably gained with a top international or City firm
* Strong drafting and transaction-management skills
* Comfortable working on complex, multi-source financings
* Interest in large-scale infrastructure and energy-transition projects
* A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work across jurisdictions
