About the opportunity: For decades, our Club’s Academy has been one of the most respected and renowned in football. Its vision to develop young players who are technically and tactically capable of playing for Everton’s First Team, or having a career in the professional game, remains as focused as ever. We have an exciting opportunity for a Foundation Phase Academy Coach to join the team at our Finch Farm training facility on a Casual basis. This role will be responsible for supporting the management and development of an age group within the Academy, in line with the Playing & Coaching philosophy, vision and values of the Academy and the Club. The successful candidate will support an age group in the Foundation Phase (U9-12). You will be required to work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure that the needs of all players are fully catered for, and to plan and deliver the coaching programme for the age group you lead to a high standard. Who we’re looking for: Our ideal candidate will need to be experienced working with children, parents and other staff members with the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal who place high value on attention to detail. Essentially, the successful candidate must hold a minimum UEFA B Coaching award and other qualifications in accordance with Premier League Youth Development Rules, as well as being able to demonstrate good practice when it comes to safeguarding children, contributing to our player-centred holistic approach at the Academy.
