About the role We’re looking for an experienced social worker to join our Adult Social Care team in Worcestershire. This is a frontline role supporting adults and carers to live independently, especially during times of crisis. You’ll carry out assessments, develop support plans, and work closely with other professionals to deliver strength-based, person-centred care. Who you are You’ll be a confident practitioner with strong knowledge of adult social care legislation and a passion for promoting wellbeing and independence. You’ll also support the development of others through mentoring and reflective practice. Key Skills & Experience: Qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding principles Experience working with older adults and those with physical disabilities Skilled in assessment, support planning, and multi-agency collaboration Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills Ability to manage complex cases and make informed decisions Committed to continuous professional development
