Do you have a solid background in construction sales? Ready to take charge of your own patch and grow a portfolio with real potential? We’re hiring a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to lead and expand customer accounts across Manchester, with a focus on recycling and aggregates.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead and grow sales across your region with a focus on recycling and aggregate solutions
* Develop and deliver a winning territory strategy focused on volume, revenue & profit
* Connect with new and existing clients through face-to-face and digital channels
* Sell value-added products and services that build long-term relationships
What You Bring:
* Proven experience in construction or building materials sales
* Knowledge of aggregates and recycling services highly desirable
* Knowledge of muck away preferable, but not essential
* A proactive, goal-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen
* Confidence using digital tools to build and maintain customer relationships
* Passion for growing market share and exceeding targets

Key Accountabilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
* Execute structured call cycles for customers and prospects using digital and in-person methods
* Prepare and support the submission of tenders and quotes
* Assist in preparing sales budgets and forecasts for the territory
* Resolve customer queries within defined timeframes aligned with company KPIs
* Improve share of wallet through strategic upselling and cross-selling
* Build long-term commercial relationships and customer strategies in line with Market Strategy Plans
* Align operational, logistics, and sales functions to meet customer needs
* Communicate market insights and customer feedback across the business
* Track and forecast customer account performance metrics
* Lead and support customer-specific projects, ensuring alignment with both customer and company goals
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in recycling and aggregates
* Maintain accurate CRM records (Brick Wall, CMP, 5-Min Planner)
* Ensure account data accuracy and process compliance
* Use market data, including ABI, to identify profitable sales opportunities
* Product knowledge in aggregates and recycling highly desirable
* Deep understanding of the construction, building materials and aggregate markets
