Summary: Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd are seeking an experienced and motivated individual with solid, previous hands-on experience to take on the role of Platform Administrator and join our dynamic IT Platform team in the Northwest of England. This role will play a critical part in managing out global Microsoft 365 (M365) environment and identity and access management (IAM). The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in M365, capable of driving operational excellence and supporting a global workforce. Key Responsibilities: • Participate in the management of all the existing and future implemented platforms including but not limited to: • Microsoft 365 (Exchange, EntraID, Intune, Sharepoint, etc) • Mimecast • PowerDmarc • OKTA • Citrix • WEM / FSLogix for Profile Management • Salesforce • Ninja RMM • Zoom • Pantheon/Wordpress • Focus on configuration and optimisation of Microsoft 365 applications: • Tenant Management, including licensing and user provisioning • Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates, features, and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations. • Monitor MS365 performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services. • Provide Tier 2/3 support for M365-related issues • Implement and maintain MS365 security policies, compliance settings, and data loss prevention (DLP) measures. • MS365 tenant management, including licensing, user provisioning, and integration with other enterprise systems, including Azure. • Implement and enforce Conditional Access, MFA policies, and security best practices • Participate in the administration of the global identity and access management, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and user lifecycle management. • Monitor and respond to email security incidents, including phishing, spam, and malware threats. • Participate in the administration of the email security platform, including configuration, policy management, and threat protection. • Collaborate with the security team to enhance email security protocols and ensure alignment with industry best practices. • Ensure secure access controls, role-based access policies, and compliance with identity governance standards. • Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT security, infrastructure, and application development, to align M365 with business objectives. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. • Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity. • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and organisational policies. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline administrative processes using automation tools or PowerShell. • Monitor system health, performance and availability • Implement security best practises, including MFA, Conditional Access and Compliance Policies • Coordinate with Security and Network teams on identity and access management • Assist with migrations, upgrades and new M365 feature deployments • Document system configurations, changes and operating procedures. Required Qualifications & Experience: • 5 years of experience managing Microsoft 365 environments in a global enterprise setting, leading on M365 migrations and Azure Deployments. • 3 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure, Mimecast for email security, and Okta for identity and access management. Desired Skills and Experience: • Citrix Daas Administraiton • Zoom Administration • Ninja RMM Administration • Advanced skills in Powershell scripting • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals). • Experience working in financial services, legal, or debt recovery sectors.
